About Us

Our Story

The 13Villages Foundation was founded in response to the deep, unmet needs of rural villages in Battor, Ghana. What began as a personal mission to provide schoolbooks and health supplies has grown into a full-fledged nonprofit, committed to long-term, community-led transformation. We believe that aid should not just provide relief, it should build independence, dignity, and sustainability.

We walk with our communities every step of the way, through sickness and healing, poverty and progress, despair and renewed hope.

Our Mission

To provide holistic, sustainable support to the 13 villages of Battor, Ghana—through community, led initiatives that improve access to healthcare, education, spiritual development, and basic human needs.

Our Vision

We envision a future where every village in Battor thrives, where families are healthy, children are educated, communities are spiritually connected, and daily needs are met with dignity and stability.

Our Values

  • Community-Centered: We listen first. All projects are designed with and for the people of Battor.
  • Sustainability: We invest in long-term solutions, not short-term aid.
  • Faith-Inspired: We believe spiritual support is integral to human wellbeing.
  • Collaborative: We work with local leaders, churches, educators, and healthcare professionals to multiply our impact.

Our History

Founded in 2024,  13Villages Foundation was created after witnessing the deep challenges, and even deeper resilience, of the people of Battor. Inspired by their strength and driven by a call to serve, our founder, Patron Adovor, formed partnerships with local organizations, churches, clinics, and schools. From a single health clinic day, the foundation grew into a movement for comprehensive, sustainable transformation.

Our Team

Our board and staff bring a wide range of expertise, from education and healthcare to pastoral ministry and nonprofit strategy, all with a shared passion for Battor’s future.
